The Design
“Cozy colorwork for snowy days.”
They say that if you keep your pulse points warm—wrists, hands—you’ll stay warm all over. Our Colorwork Cuffs & Mittens prove that theory nicely! Pick a colorwork chart— we’ve picked the classic snowflakes!—an edging, and then finish as mittens (our choice here), fingerless gloves, or cute little cuffs!
We chose two heathered colors—Nordic-inspired red and cream—of Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift for these beautiful colorwork cuffs. A fingering-weight, woolen-spun yarn made from the fleece of hardy, wee Shetland sheep. Nice and lofty, it has the perfect toothy texture and gorgeous color palette.
